Born behind the iron curtain, in the city of Dzerzhinsk (USSR), Irina couldn’t even dream of ever leaving Russia, let alone have a career in Hollywood. Yet, when the opportunity presented itself, she pursued a modeling career. In 2001 Irina moved to the United States to become Playboy’s Miss January 2001. Since then has had millions of visual impressions around the globe via the covers and pages of magazines including Maxim, Max, Playboy, FHM, Stuff, Kandy and many more. She has appeared in numerous TV commercials and print campaigns including SKYY Vodka, Bacardi, Miller Lite, Michelob Ultra, Detour Protein Bar, Sisley Clothing, Carl’s Jr, Priceline, Jewel Night Club, and most recently, Delilah Night Club at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas.

 

In 2008 Irina was named St. Pauli Girl Beer Spokes Model, completing a 12-city media tour around the US, hosting events and interacting with fans. She holds the title of a three-time Kandy Magazine cover girl, and the honor of Kandy Magazine’s 2013 Model of the Year.

 Irina began to showcase her comedic side when she landed her first big-screen role in Reno 911!: Miami. Over the years she appeared in a multitude of feature films, including Balls of Fury, Piranha 3DD, Lazer Team, showcased her sexy/killer side in the indie film Scramble – which she co-produced. She kept audiences laughing with television appearances on Svetlana (HD Net), Saul of the Molemen (Adult Swim), Supreme Court of Comedy (Direct TV), iCarly (Nikelodeon), Tosh.0 (Comedy Central), Reno 911! (Comedy Central) and helped expose social teen struggles in the critically acclaimed 13 Reasons Why (Netflix).

Irina’s comedic acting experience naturally evolved into a standup comedy career. Irina's act takes you on rollercoaster ride from her life in Soviet Russia to meeting Hugh Hefner and gracing on the pages of Playboy. Packed with true stories of culture shock, reinvention, and history lessons, Irina delivers a raw, smart, and unforgettable hour of comedy filled with big laughs and brutally honest story telling. She frequently performs at comedy clubs in Los Angeles area, and taped stand -up appearances for Laugh After Dark (Prime Video), Laugh Tonight With Damon Williams (Tubi TV/ Urbanflix TV), and Rosie Tran Presents (Tubi TV/ Prime Video).

​In 2015-2020 Irina produced a monthly all-women standup show Comedy Stew, which has become a ‘must-perform’ venue for female comedians in Los Angeles.

From 2020 to 2024, Irina managed and booked The Comedy Chateau, one of Los Angeles’ comedy venues. During her time there, she built lineups, booked comedians, produced an annual festival, often  juggling the many moving parts that come with running a comedy club. It was an experience that gave her a front-row seat to the business of comedy, while allowing her to work on her own comedy act.

In recent years, Irina has expanded her comedy career into writing, finishing her first TV pilot and feature screenplay.
